Highlights video from the wedding ceremony.
Lots of people deserve great praise for helping to make the day so special, namely our family and friends but the main ones that other potential wedding couples might be interested in would be:
Our photographer, John Kelly from Clonmel, done a great job, very easy going and relaxed despite hordes of family getting in his way.
Our church singer, Brendan McCarthy from Waterford. Amazing voice, everyone was raving about how good he was and how much it added to the ceremony.
Our video guys, JMB Videos, we’ve already mentioned in the previous post.
The RiverCourt Hotel, all the staff and in particular Kevin Brennan. Everything there was top notch and all went off without a hitch. Service was brilliant, food was delicious. A wonderful setting in the heart of Kilkenny.
We just got our wedding dvds back off JMB Videos and as expected they’ve done a great job. They’ve been brilliant all throughout, very friendly and helpful, professional in their work yet unobtusive on the day and with 2 cameras they capture everything that matters. So a big thanks to Jimmy and Mike and if you’re looking for someone to video your wedding we highly recommend them.
The big day has come and gone. We had a brilliant time and thank everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. There are lots of photos and video clips to be looked at and eventually uploaded here but for now we’re off to the Caribbean on honeymoon.

The Happy Couple
Getting there bit by bit. Internal plastering is done and the fires for living and sitting rooms are installed. They’re sealed fires delivered and installed by Fentons Fires who have been great to deal with, unlike some of our other suppliers…

There’s been plenty of progress on the house since our last report. All the blockwork is done on the exterior and the garage has started. Should be able to get cracking with the first fix as soon as Cygnum deliver a few more materials for insulation and plasterboard, getting a bit annoyed with their slow deliveries and lack of communication. All part of the fun of building I guess. Added some more photos.
The good weather arrives and plenty of progress on the house with it. The windows have gone in, courtesy of Regency Windows and some of the exterior blockwork has started. The windows look great, particularly all the large south facing ones. Click the photo below and it’ll take you to a small album of more photos. The white on the exterior of the windows is just tape, they’re actually dark grey / black.
Windows in the House
Not much happening on site lately so I just thought I’d mention our architect Fintan Dunne who’s done a super job in designing the house, sorting planning and now looking after the build.
The house design is all Fintan’s work, the L shaped bungalow with loads of south facing glazing, monopitch roof and a neat glass porch joining the two ends.
He’s also great at sorting our varied demands for timberframe to super insulation to hrv to indoor swimming pool 
If you want a creative design then we highly recommend Fintan.
